Blueberry Almond Smoothie


This blueberry almond smoothie is one of my favorites and it is very filling so it's a great option for a quick breakfast.  It's full of antioxidants from the blueberries, fiber and potassium from the banna and the flaxseed gives it a nice dose of sweetness. Hope you enjoy! 

Ingredients:
- 1 cup of frozen organic blueberries
1 banana 
-1 cup of almond milk
- 1/4 cup of oatmeal
-1 teaspoon of flaxseed

Throw in all your ingredients in a blender until smooth and enjoy! 

Doesn't look too pretty before you blend but trust me it tastes great!

Black Ensemble

Its been too long since my last post! Life has been pretty crazy around here, along with long hours at work and my husband just graduated from an intense, month long military course which took up a lot of his spare time, and since he's my photographer, I couldn't bug him for pics in the midst of papers, speeches and all that jazz.  And on top of it all, we've been planning our vacation to Portugal, Spain and Morocco for this spring so we've had a lot on our plate.  But today I bring you one of my favorite combinations: all black.  Now I love color, but sometimes you just crave simplicity.  And no one does simple and chic better than black.  Easy, comfortable, effortless--sounds like my cup of tea.  Hope you enjoy and I will be back to posting multiple times a week from now on!
